EDITING SERVICES - dog trainers take note
If you've ever ordered a tape of your runs from PMCC, you've seen that each individual run has its own title on your DVD. PMCC can provide you the same service from your originals on tape.
-Combine multiple source tapes onto one or more DVDs, arranged any order of your choosing, each entry into the ring given its own title for easy access in DVD playback: Labor rate is $25 per hour
Read: typically it takes 2 to 3 hours to process a one hour tape; the joy of the result is that with a DVD you can advance to any run from any time of the year easily, instead of having to deal with the cumbersome, time-wasting forwarding and rewinding of analog tape. If submitting for editing services, we can discuss a not-to-exceed cost and billing will be based on actual amount of time required for the job, up to the maximum agreed-upon amount.
Where possible, we can arrange your runs from multiple tapes chronologically onto your DVD. (We'll do as best as possible given the right information :) Chronological presentation can be provided onto VHS tape as well. You'll be provided with an index.
Ordinarily material is submitted via U.S. Postal Service. Insurance and delivery confirmation is suggested. Drop-off and pickup can be negotiated; pickup will involve an extra charge depending on mileage from Morganville NJ 07751.
Shipping is via U.S. Postal Service unless otherwise arranged.
Shipping based on material being submitted:
8mm or Hi-8 camcorder tapes: $6.00 flat rate return shipping.
VHS tapes: $10.00 flat rate return shipping
Pick-up or drop-off may be arrangeable.
If submitting for straight tape to DVD transfer, payment is accepted at time of submission.
If submitting for editing services, we can discuss a not-to-exceed cost and billing will be based on actual amount required for the job, up to the maximum agree-upon amount.
Cash, check, and money order is always accepted. Credit card payment must be done through Paypal.com.
(Paypal is simply a third party that verifies a credit card is valid, and arranges payment between two e-mail addresses. I pay any fees associated with the transaction. Paypal members may also draw from a checking account or keep a balance from which payments can be drawn without charging a credit card).
About the discs: you will receive a DVD-R. This disc will play in your home DVD player. It is not guaranteed to play in your computer or laptop, though some customers report it does so wonderfully.
